Lighthouses have a special kind of beauty to them, and I wanted to bring that to gingerbread. The challenge was to make it rounded and I decided to bake gingerbread bricks and make it substantial. The spray coating makes it look like the inside of a shell to me, and the sand was light brown sugar.
