Gingerbread, Taylor's Version

This year I taught a First Year Seminar about gingerbread and after serving as a gingerbread midwife for 19 showpieces, I was exhausted and overwhelmed! But the magic and joy of gingerbread is compelling and having missed the season in 2021 because of illness , I could not imagine missing another.

My daughter is an outstanding gingerbread artist in her own right, and she and I were lucky enough to attend the Eras Tour in May. This was a tremendously beautiful core memory for both of us, and so a collaboration was born!

There were nine eras, so we each made four houses FULL of Swiftie Easter Eggs, plus the central tree for Speak Now, which only had Enchanted make an appearance at our show.
