Susquehanna Waldorf School

Introduction

I was asked to create a gingerbread house to represent the Susquehanna Waldorf School in a Rivertowns Chamber of Commerce Gingerbread House contest. Although I usually don't like to do recognizable buildings, I made an exception for this one. My children attended this school in their elementary years, and our lives were immeasurably improved for having had the experience.

The lights over the front door were my favorite

Each classroom has different colored curtains, just like in real life

The brown sugar sand pit and trees made from grape stems

The playground with mini fondant figures
