Christmas Cookies

This year as I was playing Gingerbread Midwife to the creations of my First Year Students at Elizabethtown College, there just wasn't enough time or energy to create a showpiece of my own. But I always have time for joy and wanted to create a special cookie for each of the five grandchildren of a dear friend. (Plus extras for the grown-ups!)
