The Christmas Queen's Gambit

This year I *FINALLY* got to make the chessboard I have been dreaming about for the last three years!

I play chess, passably, but I love the endless variety of sets that can be found around the world. One of the few mementos I brought back from my study abroad was a pink and grey granite set from Guadalajara that I love. I don't play often, but I love the game.

I also loved the Queen's Gambit series because it was so visually stunning. So putting everything together made sense.

The visual I wanted to have is the sense that you can take the board off and store the pieces inside.
